For our client, we are looking for a skilled metalworker who enjoys working with metal and wants to help build custom generator sets. You install generator sets in containers and enclosures, ensuring everything is technically sound and professionally finished.
Job Description
- Installing generator sets in containers and enclosures
- Assembling components using hand tools
- MIG/MAG welding of structural components
- Working from technical drawings
- Metalworking and fabrication
- Neatly and professionally finishing the end product
You will receive thorough guidance and time to develop your skills. Once you can work independently, there are opportunities to progress, with higher pay and possibly a company car.
Job Requirements
- Experience with MIG/MAG welding (required from the start)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience in metalworking
- Technical aptitude and the ability to work independently
- Working accurately and tidily
